Librairie FRELIX is a new family bookstore specializing in fine used and antiquarian books in Frelighsburg, Quebec, a heritage village at the foot of Mount Pinnacle, 5 minutes from the Vermont border and 75 minutes from Montreal.

Come and browse the eclectic mix of titles in French, English and other languages reflecting subjects of interest to the region including: ecology, history, agriculture, food, health, fine arts, popular novels, the classics and children’s books. FRELIX also offers rare and old volumes of interest to collectors.

Sitting in the village halfway between the 1839 Freligh Mill and 1884 Bishop Stewart Memorial Church, FRELIX fulfils a cultural mission by redistributing books of value from one generation to another.

As book buying and selling is being transformed by the digital world, there is still nothing quite like the thrill of exploring shelves and finding your special book.
